I went down to Cali for travel, and was able to train at the EDJ School of JiuJitsu.. Amazing environment, people and JiuJitsu classes. 10/10 would recommend!

The academy is AMAZING! My son was the first to start here when he was just 3 years old (in 2018). Shortly after my husband, nephew, brother-in-law, my daughter (when she was old enough), and even myself all joined. It was so easy to get on the mats because every coach and Professor treats you like family! You are always welcomed by name and get to know everyone very quickly. We all have learned defensive skills with our martial arts training along with life skills. I always feel safe here, and safe to leave my kids in the academy while they train. The academy is always super clean!! I always recommend this academy for anyone who has even thought about training jiu-jitsu.

EDJ Jiu Jitsu: Welcoming, Knowledgeable, and Flexible. I had a rough experience at another jiu jitsu school, but EDJ completely restored my faith! Everyone from the instructors to the students were friendly and welcoming from the start. The professors and coaches made a point to introduce themselves and create a warm atmosphere.
The classes are well-structured and offered at convenient times. I also love the flexibility of being able to train at other affiliated schools. Overall, EDJ is a fantastic place to train. I always feel welcome and supported, and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in jiu jitsu.
Amazing Place to Be!! Everyone at the school, the professors, the coaches, and the gym members are great. Everyone is very patient, very understanding, and willing to help you achieve your goals on mats and your fitness journey!
Joining this academy and being a part of the EDJ team is one of the best decisions I’ve made by far. It is a great school for kids and adults to learn Jiu Jitsu, stay in shape and grow closer together. My kids and I have been training here for close to 2 years and all love it. Professor JP and Professor Kim are great leaders and great people in general.

Great academy! Very kid friendly, Coach Amanda and Coach Evelyn are doing a fantastic job keeping the kids engaged and keeping it fun! 10/10 highly recommended!! Adult classes are awesome too! If you're thinking of joining an adult class the environment is friendly and very technical with the training, Coach Joe is the instructor for the adults. Definitely give them a shot, you won't be disappointed 💯

I love training at EDJ. I have been practicing jiu Jitsu there since last September and Coach Joe and Coach Amanda are awesome! I feel safe and have a great time. There’s always a lot to learn and opportunities to explore a different world.
I often feel like I got lucky that EDJ was my first school, because the friends I’ve made here are incredible. The curriculum is challenging, and when I am able to successfully do a move, it’s so rewarding. The instructors are patient and don’t ever make you feel like a burden. The White Belt Beginners Course was exactly what I needed to start my BJJ journey. The instructors were patient and knowledgeable, and the curriculum was perfectly structured for beginners.
Excellent Coaches. The facility is clean. Everyone is very welcoming. My son really enjoys working with all his fellow teammates and has learned a significant amount of respect and discipline. His training has helped him cope mentally, physically, and emotionally and he’s learned a great deal of patience. We’re very happy with his performance and the coaches techniques in training his Jitsu skills.
I have been looking for a Jiu Jitsu gym that stood for the same principles as I did. Family, inclusiveness and respect. EDJ School of Jiu Jitsu stands for all three of these virtues. They demonstrate their patience and respect when teaching technique. Coach Amanda and coach Joe are of high quality coaches that are hard to come by when it comes to the three virtues I mentioned above. The entire EDJ team and other branches in other locations all practice the same inclusion, respect and family first practices that I first experienced at EDJ Hemet. If you’re thinking about Jiu Jitsu, do it! You won’t regret it!

Absolutely wonderful my son loves his classes! Source of great structure, morals, self discipline and consistency. Coach Joe and coach Amanda are both just amazing instructors with lots of patience. An anxious sense of accomplishment for kids! Great for all ages.
My grand daughter has attended this dojo for 2+yrs. Coach Amanda & Joe are the best. They're patient, they listen, they demonstrate all the moves and give encouragement. EDJ is an amazing dojo. My now 7 year old son loves his class. I decided to put my son in Jiu Jitsu last year to try and mellow him out. He is a very active boy. The behavior change that I saw with him in a small amount of time is truly amazing. Jiu jitsu not only teaches you self defense it teaches you self-discipline, self-esteem, self-confidence, self-control and how to be a better listener. If anyone is looking to join a dojo this is the one..the coaches and professor's are all great!! Thanks EDJ!
My daughter has been training with professor JP and coach Kim for 5 years in September. She has raised to the rank of yellow belt and is part of the schools competition team. They are great with kids small and older ones, the patience they have for each student is remarkable. The lessons in martial arts, life and often provide anti-bully classes is great. This place is our second home and we all consider ourselves as family. My daughter and our family loves EDJ. We highly recommend it we even have my little nieces training too.
Professor JP and his staff are amazing both on and off the mats.
The kids program is phenomenal. They truly care about the development of each student, and work to instill respect for the community while teaching valuable life lessons. Coach Kim is second to none in how she handles the program.
The adults classes are extremely fun and challenging. The academy has a wide range of skill levels from brand new white belts to multiple black belts.
The facility is always extremely clean and well maintained.
I would recommend this academy to anyone!
